My premium Posterous theme store is now live!

It's official. I've been working hard to put together my Posterous theme store where I can sell and distribute premium Posterous themes, and now it's finally ready.

Say hello to my new Posterous theme store!

This store will be where I post my new themes, both premium and free, as well as where my advanced theme editor will reside when I launch it too.

Right now I've got three premium themes available for sale. And they're on sale this week, so if any of them look like something you might like to use, now would be the time to buy!

Tabby 2 (fully customizable!)

Tabby is one of the more popular themes downloaded from Posterize.us because of the great way it helps to organize content into tabs. I get many requests to create a version of this theme with a white background, so I've gone one step further. Introducing Tabby 2!

Tabby 2 is a new and improved, fully customizable version of the original Tabby theme. You can now edit text, background and header background(among others), and even drop in your own header image if you don't like the soft light background that comes standard with the theme, all without editing any html!

You can download the theme file for free if you're a registered member of Posterize.us.

New theme: Austero (with background image support!)

Austero is a clean theme that has support for a background image via the Header Image property. For example, if you want to have a repeatable background image (like a pattern), just upload it as the Header Image and the theme will automatically tile it and use it as your background.

You can download the theme file for free if you're a registered member of Posterize.us.

New theme: Tabby - uses tags as navigation!

One of the current limitations of Posterous is that there is no support for additional pages like an About page. Tabby sets out to fix that. Tabby is a unique theme that uses Posterous Tags as site navigation (similar to what you see here at themes.posterous.com). For example, the tabs you see across the top of the theme are tags. This way, you can essentially create different pages for your site by using tags. This theme isn't for everybody, but for those who want to create additional pages, this might be what you're looking for.

You can download the theme file for free if you're a registered member of Posterize.us.
